Trumpet artist Stephen M. Wadsack is a rapidly emerging performer, arts advocate, consultant, and educator. His skyrocketing career has already taken him around the country, having performed in 16 states and sharing the stage with world-renowned musicians such as the Boston Brass, Dave Douglas, Gerard Schwarz, Randy Brecker, Sam Pilafian, Tim Morrison, and the American rock band, Kansas.

An active freelance musician in the Greater Cincinnati area, Stephen regularly performs with ensembles such as the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, Lexington Philharmonic, Kentucky Symphony, Merit Theatre Company, Pop/Top 40 band River City, and more. Stephen also regularly presents recitals, masterclasses, and residencies at high schools and universities nationwide.

Wadsack works passionately in the field of music education to inspire future generations of musicians. Stephen currently teaches at Wilmington College, where he serves as the Instrumental Music Instructor (Trumpet), Lecturer, and Director of Athletic Bands. Wadsack also maintains a competitive private studio of over 20 students; many of his top students have been selected for All-State and All-National honor ensembles, as well as top collegiate music programs.

Stephen graduated from the University of Wyoming (BME), where he was named an Outstanding Graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences and received the Theodore Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award in Music. He completed graduate studies at the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) in Cincinnati (MM); at CCM, Stephen served as the Graduate Teaching Assistant for the trumpet studio. His primary teachers have included Steve Schofield, Scott Meredith, Alan Siebert, Philip Collins, and Scott Belck.
