President’s Welcome

The 48th Annual International Trumpet Guild Conference
Anaheim, CA

WELCOME

It is my pleasure to welcome to you the 48th annual International Trumpet Guild Conference! As a native of southern California, I couldn’t be more excited to host you here in beautiful Anaheim, California from May 28-June 1, 2024, for five inspired days of trumpeting. Our Conference Director Rebecca Wilt, Assistant Director Anthony Salabarria, and the ITG Board of Directors can’t wait to welcome you to the conference!

The International Trumpet Guild Conference is open to any trumpeter and trumpet enthusiast of any age and ability, and truthfully, the more the merrier! As an attendee, you will enjoy performances by leading artists in the trumpet world, attend master classes by world-class pedagogues, hear the next generation of trumpeters excel in the student competitions, and learn through presentations on a variety of topics. Please don’t forget your trumpet at home as everyone will have the opportunity to be involved if they so choose. From group warm-up sessions to the Festival of Trumpets, and of course, our opening fanfare, which will be conducted by a trumpet legend, this will be a wonderful experience for all. Let’s also not forget the access to the amazing exhibits where you will find opportunities to try new instruments, mutes, mouthpieces, accessories, and purchase music – it’s a one-stop shop.

The International Trumpet Guild values all of its members and attendees.  We take extreme pride in ensuring an inclusive and friendly environment for networking, learning, and sharing by all. If you are new to our conference or a regular attendee, please know how much we value you and how excited we are to have you with us. You will find our staff, our volunteers, and our Board to be very welcoming and eager to help you enjoy the conference.

Please enjoy the beautiful sunshine, the palm trees, and the Disney vibes here in sunny Anaheim. What makes ITG special is the people, and I so look forward to seeing you all soon. Cheers to a great week of friendship, learning, and trumpet!
