Applications for Trumpet Preludes are now open.

Applications are now open for the 2027 ITG Conference Trumpet Ensemble Preludes! The Prelude spots provide opportunities for groups to perform on an internationally-recognized stage, before their peers, guest artists, and attendees.

The Trumpet Ensemble Preludes will occur at the beginning of most clinics, recitals, or concerts. These performances are to be tasteful and respectful for a diverse audience. The total duration of each performance must not exceed 8-12 minutes. Student, professional, and community ensembles are all encouraged to apply. Submission of performance should be in a video format.

Once an application is successfully submitted, the ensemble director will receive notification of their formal invitation. Applications are due by February 1, 2027. Acceptance letters will be distributed by February 15, 2027, and groups must register for the conference and confirm participation by March 15, 2027.

Failure to meet these deadlines will result in disqualification from participation.
