Session: Potential Pharmaceutical Causes for Embouchure Weakness and Dysfunction: A Case Study

Bruce Whisler is a professor in the Department of Performing Arts at Clemson University where he teaches audio technology and applied trumpet. He holds a Doctor of Arts in Music from Ball State University, and his primary trumpet teachers have been Paul Everett, David Greenhoe, and Marvin Perry. In Indiana he performed with orchestras in Muncie, Marion, and Richmond. In the Carolinas he has performed with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, the Spartanburg Philharmonic, the Hendersonville Symphony, and the GAMAC Chamber Orchestra. As an audio engineer he has done restoration work on recordings from the New York Brass Quintet and has engineered several of the annual member recordings for the ITG.
