Noah Halpern

Concert: Winner of the Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Competition

Noah Halpern is a trumpet player and composer who seeks to heal and uplift people through music. Winner of the 2023 ITG Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Competition, Noah has been a mainstay on the New York jazz scene for almost a decade, as well as performing at clubs and festivals all around the world. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Noah moved to New York City in 2014 to attend The Juilliard School (BM ’18, MM ’19), and has received mentorship from great artists including Eddie Henderson, Wynton Marsalis, Frank Kimbrough, Cuong Vu, Joe Magnarelli, and more. As a composer, he has written for dance ensembles, music videos, electronic projects, the band Meridian Odyssey (of which he is a member), and his own project, the Noah Halpern Quartet. Noah currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
