Professor of Trumpet at Universidade Federal de Goiás. For twenty years, he held the position of First Trumpet of the Espírito Santo Symphonic Orchestra and the chair of Trumpet Teacher of the Faculdade de Música do Espírito Santo. Antonio holds a DMA at UNIRIO, with Prof. Dr. Nailson Simões. As a soloist, he played the concerts for trumpet by Haydn, Neruda, Arutjunian, Handel, Bach, Copland, Ketting, DUDA, Harry James and others. Recitals in many cities: Goiânia, Brasilia, Florianópolis, Joinville, Uberlândia, Cidade de Goiás, Recife, João Pessoa, Manaus. Lisbon, Paredes and Vila Nova de Gaia, in Portugal and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. In the United States, recitals with Duo Galama-Cardoso at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Memphis University, Tenessee, Pikeville College, Campbellsville University, University of Kentucky and Center College. Member of the Brazilian Trumpet Ensemble and coordinator of Trompetes do Cerrado, with presentations at the Annual Conferences of the International Trumpet Guild in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018.
