Sarah Heimberg

Recital

Sarah Heimberg, trumpet, is an active orchestra, chamber, and solo musician in Chicago, IL. Sarah joined the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra in 2023 and has performed with the Grand Rapids Symphony, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and numerous regional orchestras across the country. She has also appeared as a guest artist with the Third Coast Brass and the Rembrandt Chamber Musicians. As a soloist, Sarah was a finalist in the 2024 Ellsworth Smith Trumpet Competition and the 2024 Roger Voisin Trumpet Competition. A passionate educator, Sarah maintains a robust teaching studio with students of all ages and backgrounds. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory and is pursuing a Master of Music from the Northwestern University Bienen School of Music. Her primary teachers include David Bilger, Steve Emery, and Ben Wright.
