Flight Information
Blue Grass Airport (LEX) 4000 Terminal Dr, Lexington, KY 40510
Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines all provide direct air service to and from LEX, connecting to major hubs nationwide.
The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) are both about a 1.5-hour drive from Lexington).
Local Travel
Lexington is a highly accessible mid-sized city. The airport is conveniently located just 10–15 minutes (about 6 miles) west of downtown and the University of Kentucky campus. Taxis, Lyfts, and Ubers are readily available curbside at the terminal. Many downtown hotels also offer complimentary airport shuttles.
For local public transit, LexTran offers an express bus route (Route 8) from the airport to the downtown Transit Center on weekdays.
