Trompettes Soniques

Shared Recital

Trompettes Soniques, a trumpet ensemble comprised of all women, was formed by Cindy Scaruffi-Klispie. The idea came to her while  hearing an outstanding trumpet ensemble from South America perform  at the 2019 ITG Conference in Miami. During the performance, the  realization that all the players were men made her consider the  possibility of an all-female group.  

Cindy ran the idea past a few friends and colleagues and decided to ask  women trumpeters from across the USA if they were interested in  joining such a group. Trompettes Soniques now has 18 members and is  an international ensemble. The ensemble has performed in the USA  and in Japan. It is a 501(c)(3).
