Dimitris Kafyris: The Legacy and Pedagogy of a Trailblazing Greek

Trumpet artist Stephen M. Wadsack is a performer, music educator, arts administrator, and academic researcher. With a career that has already taken him around the globe, Wadsack seeks to connect meaningfully with others through shared experiences in both stage and classroom alike. 

Currently based in the Atlanta area, Stephen regularly performs in symphony orchestras, as a soloist, in chamber ensembles, and as a proponent of new music – in venues ranging from jazz clubs to cathedrals. He has been a frequent guest or associate musician with ensembles such as the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Dayton Philharmonic, Lexington Philharmonic (KY), Richmond Symphony (IN), and Springfield Symphony (OH). Recent engagements as a soloist include performances with the Butler Philharmonic, Wright State University’s Chamber Orchestra and Wind Symphony, as well as recitalist engagements with numerous arts presenters throughout the Midwest. Currently, Wadsack serves as Assistant Professor of Trumpet at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
