Peter Firšt

Peter Firšt was born in 1998 in Celje, Slovenia. He completed the elementary and secondary music school in Celje in the class of Prof. Miran Majcen and graduated at the University of Zagreb Academy of Music in the class of Prof. Marin Zokić. During his studies, he spent a year at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest in the class of Prof. Gábor Boldoczki as an Erasmus Programme exchange student.
Since 2019, he has been the trumpet soloist at the Synchron Stage Orchestra Vienna; in 2022, he started working as a trumpet player in the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. He collaborates regularly with the Salzburg Philharmonic and the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Ad Gloriam Brass ensemble, and the Zagreb Brass Quintet.
He has performed as a soloist with the Wind and Symphony Orchestra of the Celje Music School, the Celje String Orchestra, the Slovenian Police Orchestra, Baroque Ensemble of the Zagreb Academy of Music, the Zagreb Philharmonic, the Zagreb Soloists, and the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra.
As the trumpet soloist with the Synchron Stage Orchestra Vienna, he has recorded multiple soundtracks for film (James Bond: No time to die, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, We Can Be Heroes, Lost in Russia, Promising Young Woman, Captain America: Brave New World …), series (His Dark Materials, Ms. Marvel, WandaVision, Moon Knight, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law …), animated films (Over the Moon, Klaus, Made in Abyss 2 …), and computer games (Call of Duty Mobile, Fortnite, Game of Peace …).
His orchestra engagements included collaborations with composers, producers, and conductors of global renown, such as John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Bear McCreary, and Johannes Vogel.
