Opening Fanfare Competition Selection

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the composers who submitted their works for the Opening Fanfare Composition Competition. Your creativity and talent made this selection process truly inspiring, and the adjudicators had a very difficult time determining a winner.

We would like to congratulate our winner, Tiffany Johns, for her outstanding composition, Fanfare to the Stars, which will set a brilliant tone for the event. 

Additionally, we also recognize our runner-up, Briston Hatchell, whose Deseret Fanfare will have the honor of opening the Festival of Trumpets Concert. Thank you for sharing your music with us and for contributing to this celebration of artistry and excellence!
