Michaela Shelton

Soprano: Opening Concert

Michaela is a former Army Bandsperson, having served as a soprano vocalist in The United States Army Field Band for over eight years. With the Field Band, she performed free concerts for the American public on tours across the nation, and at state events in the National Capital region. Before enlisting, Ms. Shelton received her Master’s Degree from The Eastman School of Music and Bachelor’s Degrees from The Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She has performed solos with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, The Eastman Rochester Chorus, and The Detroit Pops Orchestra. Since relocating to Utah, she has been singing with the Utah Opera and Utah Symphony Choruses, and performing in local theater performances at Centerpoint Legacy Theatre and Kensington Theatre.
