Gabriele Terrone is the Organist and Assistant Director of Music at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also oversees the Eccles Organ Festival, and assists with the training and conducting of the choristers of the Madeleine Choir School.
Gabriele has concertized throughout Europe and the US, both as a solo performer and with the Cathedral Choir and has recorded for several radio/tv stations. Before coming to Utah, he served as organist and choirmaster in several important churches in Rome, notably the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, where he was titular organist until 2014.
Gabriele obtained his Diploma in Organ and Composition from the Italian State Conservatory. Afterwards, he earned the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Organ Improvisation from the Hochschüle für Musik in Luzern (Switzerland). Gabriele also earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Padova and worked as a researcher at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon (Portugal).
