Evening Concert: The 30 Years Show!

The Trompettes de Lyon instrumental ensemble was formed in 1989 by the very same five musicians as today. First recognized for their numerous classical concerts, the group moved on to musical comedy, all the while becoming more and more active in programs for amateurs of all levels. From 1997 onwards, they worked with renowned professional artistic directors and created musicals, truly wending their way between music and theater : movement, dance, special lighting effects, singing, acting and other elements coming together to make their show a theatrical experience, with an off beat sense of humour. Altogether, the Trompettes de Lyon have given over 900 concerts and shows in Europe, Australia, Russia and the United States of America, performed works that have been specially written for the ensemble, taught master classes and taken part in various other projects in association with numerous academies of music. They regulary perform for ITG (International Trumpet Guild) gala night conferences (2003,Forth Worth, USA / 2010, Sydney, AUS / 2016, Anahaim, USA)
