Manfred Bockschweiger

Manfred Bockschweiger took lessons from Edward Tarr, Bo Nilsson, Konradin Groth, David Hickmann, and Richard Giangiulio. He started his orchestral playing in 1992 in Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal and continued from 1993 up to now in the opera orchestra of”Staatstheater Darmstadt“ as Principal Trumpet.
Since 1997, he has been the trumpet teacher at the Akademie für Tonkunst Darmstadt. From 1999-2002 he was a teacher at “Musikhochschule Frankfurt“, from 2002/2003 at “Musikhochschule Nürnberg“, and in 2020 he started teaching orchestral studies at Musikhochschule Stuttgart. He was invited for trumpet workshops in Germany, Poland, and Portugal.
