The solo trumpeter of the Zagreb Philharmonic was born in Split, where he completed his primary and secondary music education in the class of Prof. Ante Puharić. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Zagreb in the class of Prof. Stop Selak. He trained at the International Trumpet Academy in Bremen with distinguished soloists, orchestral artists, and pedagogues. During his studies in Bremen, he actively participated in the projects of the Bremen Philharmonic and Opera. So far, he has performed as a soloist with numerous Croatian orchestras: Zagreb Philharmonic, Croatian Chamber Orchestra, Varaždin Chamber Orchestra, Croatian Navy Split Orchestra, Zadar Chamber Orchestra. He was the solo trumpeter of the Croatian Army Orchestra and the solo trumpeter of the HRT Symphony Orchestra. Since 1998, he has been the first trumpeter of the Zagreb Philharmonic. Along with a series of solo performances, he also cultivates chamber music. He is also engaged in pedagogical work, 20 years as an associate professor at the Zagreb Academy of Music. He regularly holds a summer trumpet school on the island of Brač in Croatia. He is a member of the jury of Croatian and foreign competitions. Recently, he has been the honorary solo trumpet of the Croatian National Opera Orchestra in Osijek.
